The Sauerland Museum

The Sauerland Museum is the cultural history museum of the Hochsauerland district for the history of Südwestfalen. As a museum and cultural forum, it fulfills the task of enriching cultural life in the Sauerland with varied exhibitions and events in award-winning architecture.

In the historic Landsberger Hof, the Sauerland Museum's permanent exhibition tells the story of our region from its beginnings in the Stone Age through the Duchy of Westfalen to the present day. The new building offers space for contemporary special exhibitions on art and culture.

The museum café is the perfect place to relax after a visit to the museum.
