If you hike from the Lennetal valley up to the upper reservoir on the Sauerland-Höhenflug, you will have to climb over 300 meters in altitude. But the effort is worth it: below the upper reservoir, which has been generating renewable energy on the summit of the Dahlberg (570 m) since 1969, you can enjoy a fantastic view over the Sauerland. You can take a break on a forest sofa under a group of oak trees. If you want to go even higher, you can hike to the upper reservoir via the black-marked access path of the Sauerland-Höhenflug - 360° panoramic view included!
