In 1869, the old chapel was demolished and a new one built, which was consecrated to St. Barbara in December 1884. The construction costs were borne by 5 families. During the war years, hams and sausages were secretly stored in the attic. The chapel was renovated in 1982/1983, 2012 and 2018. The St. Anne altarpiece comes from the Reiste parish church.
