St. Johannes Baptist Church in Deifeld is one of the oldest churches in the Sauerland.
The oldest part of the church with its massive west tower dates back to the first third of the 13th century. In 1877, the old choir room was demolished and the entire church was extended by a three-aisled transept with a choir and two side chapels. The spatial impression is determined in the old Romanesque nave by strong, cross-shaped pillars and in the neo-Gothic nave by towering pillars.
Services are regularly held in the church by the Catholic parish of Deifeld.
