The small village of Faulebutter, idyllically situated near the hiking triangle at Röhrenspring, has just a few houses.
Hikers can also park in the parking lot at Landgasthof Rademacher. A hiking board from the Sauerland-Rothaargebirge Nature Park provides information about the course of the Höhenflug, local circular hiking trails and the curious place name Faulebutter. A black-marked access path takes you to the Sauerland-Höhenflug in just a few minutes, running alongside the chapel in the directly adjacent village of Weuspert.
From this parking lot, for example, you can take a circular hike of around 11.5 km to Wildewiese, which will take around 3.5 hours. More information here.
