Heidekopf observation tower

Wooden observation tower at an altitude of 710 m. Magnificent panoramic view of the Rothaargebirge and the Hessian mountains. Shelter at the foot of the tower. A detour to the Heidekopf tower should not be missed on a hike on the Sauerland-Höhenflug! The climb is rewarded with a magnificent view over the Sauerland mountains.

You can already admire the 'little brother' of the Heidekopf tower in Hallenberg town center. To mark the 775th anniversary of the town of Hallenberg in 2006, Hallenberg carpenters rebuilt the Heidekopf Tower. Since then, it has adorned the town center as another landmark.
