The small, lovingly maintained Marienkapelle is privately owned by the Klüter family from Thanshof. Situated on a hill, it is an eye-catcher for every motorist and, of course, cyclist. Hikers appreciate the small chapel. The Affeln circular hiking trail AR1 and the A1 cross the country road here, while the Küntrop circular hiking trail K2 and the A3 also pass by.
