The ensemble of the Kallewege farm and the "Schnitterhof" presents a Westphalian building style characterized by the half-timbered style. As the former accommodation for the reapers (harvest workers), the rustic and stylish monument now serves as an oasis of relaxation for holidaymakers, a meeting place for seminar participants and a culinary destination for gourmet lovers.
The former building, located in Sommersell near Marienmünster, was constructed from 5673 individual parts in the heart of Bad Sassendorf's spa gardens. Since its reopening in 1982, the hotel has always shone in new splendor without losing its historic charm.
