The Jübergturm was built for the 2010 State Garden Show in Hemer on the site of the former Blücher barracks. Its hyperboloid construction made of wooden rods won an award and was mentioned in the trade press.
Since the end of the garden show, the tower has been located in Sauerlandpark Hemer, a large leisure park with large themed gardens, various playgrounds, a skate park and beach volleyball court and plenty of space for cultural events such as concerts and festivals.
