The multimedia exhibition at the Kellerwald National Park Center invites visitors to linger. Artistic productions and entertaining exhibits provide extraordinary insights into the wilderness of the Kellerwald. In the "Primal Treasures of the Wilderness", the different habitats of the national park can be experienced from surprising perspectives. In the "WaldWerk" it's all about turning, pushing, sliding and cranking. The interactive exhibits need active and curious visitors who want to discover the nature of the primeval beech forests and their inhabitants. And in the "FilmRaum", a unique 4D sensory film is shown: together with the wild cat, visitors go on a fascinating expedition through the wilderness of the national park. There you will encounter hidden worlds and very special forest dwellers. The National Park Shop invites you to browse and then visitors can explore the nearby national park on exciting discovery tours on their own or accompanied by a ranger.

E-bike rental from April to October: With two electric bikes, a bike tour through the national park or around the Edersee is a pleasure even for occasional cyclists. The e-bikes can be tested free of charge in the parking lot. Prices per e-bike and day (10 am to 6 pm): €25

E-scooter rental: Less experienced wheelchair users or people with walking impairments or gait insecurity can borrow an electric scooter free of charge from the National Park Center. This allows them to experience the wilderness of tomorrow in the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park independently on the nearby Hagenstein route.

Please note that dogs are only permitted in the adjacent catering area. There are also dog crates in the outdoor area. Please ask the ticket office staff.

Nearest bus stop/s: National Park Center Line/s: 501; 503; 521; 581.11; 585.1 NVV-ServcieTelefon: 0800-939-0800 All connections incl. "AST-Taxi" (AnrufSammelTaxi) connections can be seen in detail via the NVV timetable information - www.nvv.de/fahrplanauskunft Tip for smartphones - download the "NVV Mobil" app from the relevant app store before the tour! In general, the "AST-Taxi" should also be included in the planning. With the AnrufSammelTaxis, the NVV ensures mobility on routes that are not in high demand. Instead of taking the bus, you travel in normal cabs or hire cars. AST cabs also have fixed timetables - all you have to do is (usually) call 30 minutes before your journey.
