The model railroad is a real attraction. Countless hours of work have gone into this layout. The locomotives wind their way along long, curved tracks through the various themed worlds. From the Alme to the fairground, everything is included. The Karl May Festival in Elspe has been recreated from scratch. Another special highlight is the faithful replica of the railroad line from Siedlinghausen to Winterberg in "SpurN" (9 mm gauge). The steam and diesel locomotives pass through all four seasons on their route; they arrive at Winterberg station in a snow-covered landscape. The route was based on the 1960s; with the help of aerial photographs, the route was realized on a scale of 1:5000.
At Easter and Whitsun, the layout is open on the 2nd public holiday from 11.00-12.30.
