The flying site of the LSC Oeventrop is called "Oeventrop Ruhrwiesen". The location of the flying site is very unusual. It is in the middle of Oeventrop, a suburb of Arnsberg. There are mountains all around, so that longer flights are possible in almost any weather conditions by using the updrafts on the slopes.

The field stretches from west to east over a length of more than 1 km and runs directly along the Ruhr.

open depending on weather conditions. The annual airfield festival with sightseeing flights etc. takes place at the end of August.
