The numerous animals in Weide, stables and gardens are part of a village. The most important thing to remember when photographing these animals is to respect them and to adhere to the following rules!
- Do not feed the animals under any circumstances. Even small "treats" can cause damage. Stay on the paths. Do not enter the stables and Weide. Do not touch the animals. And please be careful near the fences. Many pasture fences are live. Touching them is not only unpleasant, but can also damage your photographic equipment.
- Show your respect for the animals in your photos too. Never photograph animals from above. Always get the camera down to at least eye level with the animals. If you want to emphasize the size of animals, e.g. cows, it is even better to choose a camera position below the eye level of your subject.
- Take some time for an animal photo. First observe your subject. Try to capture typical animal behavior.
Task:
Take portraits of different animal species that you see on your hike. Make sure that the animals are visible as personalities.
