Rosenwege

Park/garden

#deinsauerland / Neusta POIs / Rosenwege

Four footpaths connect the small and large gardens to form one large garden. The many lovingly tended private gardens are striking and you can see that their owners are also infected by the "rose virus".

Visit our village and share in our enthusiasm for roses. Signs on the individual roses will tell you their names.

1st path:Heidetraum, 1.8 km

Discover the beauty of the village with its beautiful private and public gardens. This trail, the longest of the four Rosenwege, shows our village from an ever-changing perspective.

2nd path: Snowflake, 1 km

The queen of flowers and her court are presented here in a fairytale-like manner. On this Rosenwege we walk along the ice cellar and are reminded of winter, not least by rose names such as "Polar Sun" and "Polar Ice".

3rd path: Flammentanz, 0.6 km

Roses in a unique half-timbered setting and enchanted alleyways make this path a special experience.

4th path: Rosa Sancta, 1.1 km

The path named after the Holy Rose leads along the Küsterlandkapelle, the Ölberg and Mariengrotte grottoes to the church of St. Katharina. At the end/beginning of the circular route below the church are the monastery garden and the romantic garden at the granary.
