Rüthen high ropes course

People with and without disabilities can find the wheelchair-accessible high ropes course of the German Scout Association of St. George in Rüthen. Built between masts, it offers wheelchair users new experiences in the third dimension at fourteen high stations.

Our team leaders take responsibility for safety and work together with the relevant specialists to shape the educational process. A thorough clarification of the assignment, which also takes into account the cooperation of the various specialists, is very important to us with this offer.

Example of an inclusive high station - "The Jakobsturm"

The Jakobsturm is a high ropes course station for four people. Similar to the classic Jacob's Ladder station (also known as the Ladder to Heaven), the main focus is on teamwork. Secured and with the help of ramps, ropes and boards, the group works its way independently over platforms at a height of six meters. Once at the top, the wheelchair users can, for example, abseil down our "long path" or try out other stations.
