The "Sändkers Windmill" has been open to the public again since 1997.

It has wings with a span of 20 meters. The mill tower and mill building are made of local sand-lime brick. The mill's interior and technology are still in place. In 1976, the last miller, Wilhelm Sändker, stopped operating the mill. Around 20 years later, the windmill was classified as a "technical cultural monument" and thoroughly renovated and restored in 1995. The wings had been dismantled for a long time and were reattached in 1996. The mill has been open to visitors again since 1997 - and since 2009 it has even been possible to grind again! A small exhibition in the mill shows its history and

is open to interested visitors on the first Saturday of every month from 14:00 to 17:00 from May to September, as well as on Whit Monday, the Lippetal Bicycle Day (2nd Sunday in August) and the Open Monument Day (2nd Sunday in September).
