The fishing park
Idyllically nestled between Lenneaue and the edge of the forest, the "Sauerländer Anglerglück" fishing park in Lennestadt- Gleierbrück offers 7 ponds with different stocking levels on an area of more than 2 hectares.
Only one part of the ponds is fished at a time in an environmentally friendly and fair manner in order to give the fish sufficient time to acclimatize.
The fishing park has a separate toilet block, a fish slaughter area, a barbecue area, a children's playground and a sun terrace. Parking spaces are available directly in front of the site. Disabled people can drive onto and off the pond for loading and unloading. The fishing park is signposted from the B 236 and is easy to find.
The pond complex consists of 7 ponds:
The ponds are stocked with fish from the affiliated Sauerland trout farm, the Rameil family. Our short distances from the farm to the fishing ponds ensure high fish quality.
Stocking
The stocked fish such as
- brown trout - pike - carp
- rainbow trout - zander - and many more
- golden trout - catfish
- salmon trout - perch
- brook trout - sturgeon
- Tench - Eels
are produced by the neighboring Sauerland trout farm of the Rameil family, which was founded in 1901 and is recognized as a disease-free company according to EC Directive 61/97.
The trout farm facilities are located directly opposite the "Sauerland Angler's Happiness" fishing park. This eliminates the need for long journeys when stocking the ponds and ensures a high vitality of the fish.
Fly fishing
The fishable stretch is 2.3 km long. Pre-registration is essential! Registration can be made by telephone or in writing.
