Nature takes the lead here: "Blinker II" is a light-kinetic sculpture by artist Timm Ulrichs, consisting of a steel frame, 1,000 x 1183.5 cm, with 196 movably suspended polished stainless steel mirrors, each 50 x 83 cm. The individual panels and the overall surface of the slatted wall, 719.5 x 1183.5 cm, correspond in their proportions to a standard movie screen. On it, the natural elements of light and air, the sun and the wind as well as the sky and the earth are presented waving and flashing in an atmospheric natural spectacle of infinite variety (similar to the Cuxhaven tidal object "Blinker I" from 1982 made of floating mobile water mirrors).
