The feast of the Visitation of Mary has been a high feast day for the parish of Drolshagen for centuries. On this day, the "Sendschotter Ümmegang" is celebrated, the large procession through the villages of Sendschotten - Hützemert - Hustert - Wegeringhausen - Schlenke - Schedaer Berg - Scheda - Junkernhöh - Germinghausen - Köbbinghausen and Essinghausen.

The day before, the sound of firecrackers together with the festive ringing of the parish church and chapels herald the festive day; houses and streets are festively decorated. Numerous visitors come from near and far.

The feast day begins at 5:00 a.m. in the Sendschotten chapel with Holy Mass, at 6:00 a.m. the procession sets off with the Blessed Sacrament and the venerable statue of the Mother of God. After returning at around 11:00 a.m., the festive mass is celebrated with the concluding Te Deum in front of the chapel in Sendschotten.
