Bad Sassendorf Town Hall, Eichendorffstraße 1 (parking lot)
The approximately 7 km long A3 hiking trail starts at the town hall and leads from there via the Landwehr and the Landerpfad in the direction of Lohne to the "Unter den Bäumen" farmstead.
It continues through Lohne past numerous venerable farmsteads in the direction of Schallern.
If you like, you can take a short detour to the center of the village to see the Lohner Mühle (now a biological environmental protection work station in the district of Soest) and the Protestant church of St. Pantaleon.
From Lohne, a field path leads through the Ahse nature reserve back to Bad Sassendorf, past the Rumkerhof caravan site and the Lindenplatz clinic.
The route continues through the Kurpark, past Klinik Wiesengrund, along Wiesenstraße and Salzstraße into the town center. From Jahnplatz it is only a few steps to the town hall.
Trail conditions: asphalted farm tracks, paved paths in the spa gardens, approx. 1 km of natural paths;

From the Ruhrgebiet or from Kassel via the Dortmund Kassel highway (A 44) to the Soest-Ost/Bad Sassendorf exit, then via the B475 and L856 to Bad Sassendorf.
From the direction of Berlin/Hanover via the highway (A 2) to the Wiedenbrück exit, then via Lippstadt-Erwitte (B 1/L856) to Bad Sassendorf.
