We've put together a few exciting ideas with a real wow factor to give you some initial inspiration.

Kyrill path:

The one kilometer long Kyrill-Pfad in Schmallenberg shows you the chaotic reality. After the storm that gave the trail its name in 2007 largely destroyed nature in the region, this path was redesigned, but nature was left as it was. Today, you can hike through aisles, over footbridges and bridges and see uprooted trees and wildly growing roots. The fact that there is also a barrier-free option for the hiking trail means that this excursion tip is also ideal for everyone. The Rothaarsteig, the Forest Sculpture Trail and a country inn for refreshments are also located in the immediate vicinity of the trail.

Skywalk:

Looking for a big thrill? Then visit the Skywalk in Willingen! On the 665-metre-long and therefore longest suspension bridge in Germany, you get a breathtaking view of forests, mountains and villages 100 meters above the ground. Adjacent to the Skywalk, you can admire the largest ski jump in the world, the Mühlenkopfschanze, and start a hike towards Ettelsberg, where you can take a cable car up to the top. In Willingen, you will also find a wide range of restaurants to round off your day.
