Today is the day, my boyfriend and I want to try a stage hike for the first time. A real adventure, hiking together and with soooo many highlights. And we've chosen the Sauerland for this. More specifically, the Bestwig Panorama Trail. And that means: 56 kilometers in three days - that should be easy to manage.
But I'm particularly looking forward to spending the night at the trekking site directly under the stars. I've never done anything like this before and I'm really looking forward to experiencing this special feeling. I didn't even know that this was possible and we booked it online via the website. We then received confirmation and the exact coordinates of the platform and everything was done.
We made sure to pack as little as possible in our rucksack and only the essentials. We didn't want it to be too heavy. But there was one thing we had to take - my SLR camera. Because there are so many spectacular highlights on the tour. The Andreasberg cliffs, the 57-metre-high Stüppelturm with its 360-degree panoramic view or the Plästerlegge, NRW's only natural waterfall. Perfect for breathtaking photos. The others will be jealous!
And we're about to set off. How convenient that we can travel directly to Bestwig, the starting point of the Panorama Trail, by train with our Germany tickets. The weather just has to play along, but a little rain is somehow part of such an outdoor adventure. And let's see what else we'll experience.
