At an impressive 665 meters in length, the 120-ton structure leads from the internationally renowned Mühlenkopfschanze over the Willingen district of Stryck to the Musenberg. Visitors can look far into the distance from an impressive height of one hundred meters over the breathtaking low mountain range landscape of the Upland. At 665 meters long and 1.30 meters wide, 700 people can cross the bridge at the same time. Sufficient parking spaces are available for visitors at the Strycktal station and in the Strycktal valley. Catering is provided by the local restaurants. Both entrances to the bridge on the Schanzenberg and Musenberg sides are extremely attractive for starting further excursions from there, for example to the Ettelsberg and the adjacent Hochheide or in the direction of Usseln to the Graf Stolberg Hütte.
