Stryck hiking parking lot, Mühlenkopfstraße, 34508 Willingen (Upland)
The trail leads through the beautiful winter landscape from Stryck up to the Ettelsberg and through Paradise back to the starting point
From Stryck, the first kilometer leads uphill to the inrun tower of the Mühlenkopfschanze. From there, the trail leads to the "Große Grube", a prominent hiking junction. At an altitude of 800 m, the trail continues to Lütteke Feld. From there, the descent begins through the paradise back into the Strycktal. Passing the outlet of the Mühlenkopfschanze, you reach the starting point.
We recommend sturdy shoes with a good profile, clothing suitable for the weather, hiking poles, rucksack provisions and sufficient liquid (water, tea).
Designated winter hiking trails are cleared or rolled. Depending on the weather conditions (heavy snowfall), this may be slightly delayed as moving traffic has priority.
Visit the Mühlenkopfschanze, the largest large ski jump in the world, where the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup takes place every year
