Oscar Bohorquez, born in Karlsruhe in 1979, comes from
a family of classical musicians and lives in Paris and Berlin.
"Oscar Bohorquez is one of the most promising young
violinists ... His outstanding technique, his musical
depth and his charisma are extraordinary." This is how
Christoph Eschenbach described the young German violinist of
Latin American descent. Bohorquez gives concerts
worldwide and has performed in Germany at venues including the Alte
Oper Frankfurt, the Leipzig Gewandhaus and the Berlin
Philharmonie.
Winning a soloist competition in Boston in 2012 was
the start of a stellar career for Yannick Rafalimanana.
The multi-award-winning French pianist has performed
all over the world, including at the Berlin Philharmonie,
the Elbphilharmonie and the Vienna Konzerthaus. He is
a regular guest at the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival,
the Baden-Baden Festival and others.
