Everyone is familiar with stress, because stress is part of our lives and fulfills a very important function for coping with tasks. However, stress becomes a problem when it dominates everyday life.
If such a state persists over a long period of time, it can result in health problems, ranging from painful tension and increased susceptibility to colds to cardiovascular diseases, exhaustion or depression.
The millennia-old practice of mindfulness is an effective means of preventing stress and dealing with stress in such a way that we do not lose sight of ourselves and our needs and can shape our lives responsibly and consciously.
