The history of the "Stütings Mühle historical ensemble" goes way back to the late Middle Ages. A document from 1307 already mentions a mill located near the former town of Belecke. Individual parts of the building have been restored and modernized for over 40 years. In 2021, an information center was set up and the tunnel bunker from the time of World War II was opened up again. The cultural and local history association Badulikum e. V. (KuH) under its chairman Martin Mühlenschulte is in charge here.
As part of the free guided tours, the tunnel bunker and the Kleiner Speicher can be visited on Open Monument Day. Sawing and the way electricity is generated - both of which are ecologically valuable using hydropower - will also be demonstrated. The events can be visited from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
