Spiritual hikes from monastery to monastery
Since 2017, two 15 and 16-kilometre trails have connected Bergkloster Bestwig and the Benedictine Königsmünster Abbey in Meschede.
You can walk this trail as a group or individually. At the monastery gates, you can pick up a booklet for four euros with spiritual impulses that explore the meaning of our existence and look at the lives of St. Mary Magdalene Postel and St. Benedict of Nursia.
Both routes can be easily combined with an overnight stay in one of the monasteries.

Pilgrimage on the monastery trail from monastery to monastery.
We start at around 4:00 a.m. at Bergkloster Bestwig, celebrate a church service at sunrise at 5:00 a.m. on the Ostenberg and then follow the southern route of the Klosterweg to Königsmünster Abbey in Meschede until early noon.
