The town of Warstein rocks!
The "WarsteinLive" concert series is a complete success! The overall concept was very effective right from the start and brought together young and old as well as visitors from all parts of the town and beyond to celebrate and rock out. With the "WarsteinLive" concert series, we have reached a total of almost 10,000 people since the start in 2022, presented the town in a positive light and shown what the party culture in Sauerland is capable of. We would like to continue this success in the town's anniversary year in 2025 and hope to see many party-loving music lovers again!
The events take place on a Thursday from 7 to 10 p.m. in almost any weather on the forecourt of St. Pankratius Church in the middle of Warstein. Professional and experienced cover bands with regional appeal perform on stage.
Admission to the entire spectacle is free for visitors. Drinks are sold using tokens (1WM = €3 for a 0.3l drink). These can be purchased on the day of the event. At the "token tent", visitors also buy an "event cup" for the drinks (instead of a deposit system. Costs € 3.50 per cup). The proceeds from this are intended to help cover the costs of the event series.
SHARKS
Because the Sharks are just so incredibly good, we've brought them back!
The greatest hits and classics of the last 30 years are now part of the basic repertoire. However, you don't get to experience this every day with more bite than from the SHARKS. The audience is offered the whole broadside of rock music. From lovingly restored 80s hits to crossovers, from crisp contemporary pop to bombastic anthems, the four men and the lady from Sauerland not only rock your ears, but also the entire lower half of your body thanks to the fat SHARKS sound.
Wit, style and shamelessness go hand in hand and provide plenty of variety on and in front of the stage. In this respect, the Warstein audience can expect a wicked rock show on June 5 when it says: GET THE KIDS OUT OF THE WATER! THE SHARKS ARE LOOSE!
If you want to experience SHARKS live and get properly sharked, you should therefore be in possession of a proper seahorse. Singing and dancing along are unavoidable. But be careful, SHARKS cause: Heart fluttering, high blood pressure, HAIserkeit, goose bumps, sweating, shrieking, stomach rumbling, lust for life, grimacing, jumping, thirst, charity, nostalgia, ecstasy, dance frenzy, oblivion of the world, roaring along, enthusiasm, hot flushes, addictive behavior, amazement and world peace.
