Here at Haus Schamoni, you can have a great time in the oldest cellar pub in our district town. In 1950, the pub "Im alten Postkeller" was opened in the cellar of the Schamoni family's business premises in Steinstraße.
In the early years, "Pschorr Bräu" from Munich was tapped in the Postkeller. In the 1960s, the brewery switched to the local Veltins Pilsener. At the end of 2008, the entire building was auctioned off and completely renovated.
The new Postkeller was renovated from head to toe and equipped with state-of-the-art technology. At the same time, historical furnishings such as the stagecoach seating area, chairs and tables were preserved. In June 2010, a cozy Biergarten was created directly under the historic St. Walburga church tower, where we welcome you in the summer months until late in the evening.
