Our campsite in the Sauerland offers camping directly on Lake Biggesee / NRW. The Biggesee is the fifth largest reservoir in Germany and is located in the southern Sauerland between the towns of Olpe and Attendorn. At around 17 kilometers long and two kilometers wide, the Biggesee lies at an altitude of around 300 meters. The deepest point is 50 meters. If you decide to camp at Biggesee, you will benefit from good transport connections and a wide range of leisure activities outside the camping oasis. We also have the only lakeside railway station in NRW. The single-track train runs between Olpe and Finnentrop - several times a day. The train runs directly along the lake and offers impressive views. You can be in Olpe in about seven minutes and in Attendorn in about ten minutes.
