There are attractive leisure and sports facilities and shopping opportunities in the immediate vicinity. The motorhome site is located directly opposite the Gierskämpen sports field. The Sauerland Theater, the historic Altstadt with various sights and the Sauerlandmusuem can be reached in about 15 minutes on foot. Due to their character as transit pitches, care was naturally taken when selecting the motorhome pitches to ensure that they are at least within easy reach of various supply and disposal facilities (petrol stations, supermarkets, discount stores, restaurants in some cases).
