With its exhibition, the "Attendorn Fire Brigade Museum" association aims to contribute to the preservation of old firefighting traditions.

The museum, housed in the building of the volunteer fire department, was established on the occasion of its 100th anniversary in 1985. Visitors can expect a wide range of items relating to the history of the fire department. In addition to equipment, badges, tools and historic fire engines, the museum offers information on firefighting and fire prevention. Numerous exhibits from all over the world are also on display.
