Central access point Green Trails Korbach

200 kilometers of new trails and an MTB network twice as large overall. The major "Green Trails" project, which is unique in Europe, is developing one of the largest interconnected trail networks in Europe. The first trail area was opened in Korbach in July 2023.

The central access point for the trails on the Eisenberg near Korbach-Goldhausen is located on the outskirts of Korbach directly on the Südring. There are parking spaces, rest areas and a bike repair station here. Information boards present the trails and other cycle paths in the region.

From the parking lot, a feeder route leads directly to the Eisenberg and the four single trails in the Korbach trail area. Cyclists can also access the "normal" tourist cycle path network with long-distance cycle paths, regional and local tours as well as Korbach town centre with its stores, restaurants, cafés and various accommodation options.

The Green Trails are not aimed at experienced downhill riders who ride downhill at breakneck speed, but are an offer for all active cyclists from young to old. Anyone can ride the trails and enjoy nature - mountain biking for everyone!
