The majority of the former factory and administration buildings have been listed since 2003. Today, the historic buildings are home to high-quality restaurants and a wide range of leisure, event, cultural and social facilities. Service providers, businesses and creative people have also settled there.

In summer, one of the most beautiful and lively Biergartens in Südwestfalen is created on the impressive site. In the former boiler house of the former Elbers textile factories, the unique location Elbers 800 GRAD, a fine steakhouse, was created a few years ago true to the motto "The Golden Twenties".
