A total of 17 kilometers of slopes with guaranteed snow, toboggan runs, magnificent views, floodlit descents, ski and snowboard schools, children's areas and ski hire: in Willingen, winter sports enthusiasts can enjoy descents on the Sauerland's longest slopes over two kilometers down the valley. The K1, currently the most modern chairlift in Germany, takes you up the 1,500-metre-long slope at Köhlerhagen. If you want to ski in peace and quiet, you can use the early bird ticket from 8.30 a.m. every day. Floodlit skiing is available on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 6.30 pm. Away from the slopes, ski huts guarantee a rustic atmosphere and a good time. Family-friendliness is a top priority in Willingen: ski tickets for children up to the age of five are free of charge, as long as a paying adult is present. And 1700 parking spaces are available to winter sports enthusiasts free of charge.
