The shore beaches are freely accessible - except for the nature reserve - and our parking lots are free of charge. Extensive stocking measures ensure plenty of fishing opportunities. Whether it's big lake trout, eels, catfish, 20-pound pike, 10-pound zander or 4-pound perch, predator fishing is particularly popular on Diemelsee and is possible from practically all shore locations.
The use of electric motors and depth sounders is permitted. The colder months offer the best trolling times for predatory fish. Peace fish anglers will also find plenty to do.
Every angler is a nature lover! Help us to protect and preserve the idyllic landscape in the middle of the nature park. Please observe the fishing regulations published on www.diemelsee.de and the regulations on the Diemelsee nature reserve. Note: You can obtain the 3-day permits and annual permits online at www.hejfish.com. Annual permits are issued on site exclusively by the Diemelsee Tourist Information Office, Kirchstr. 6, 34519 Diemelsee, Tel.: 05633-91133.
