Waldbrand is an installation designed to commemorate the dramatic forest dieback of 2020.

A pile of wood was built on a platform made of reinforced concrete beams. The structure was burned and photographed. The installation was then dismantled. What remains is the awareness to care for and protect our sensitive ecosystem
