The stone measures around 1.15 x 1.40 m and is rather flat at 25 cm high. There are circular, irregular depressions on it, the shapes of which seem to confirm the legend. It is located on the so-called "Totenweg", a ridgeway between Wormbach and Soest, between the villages of Ramscheid, Dormecke and Schöndelt.
