The X 17 long-distance hiking trail (Harkortweg, from Düsseldorf to Werdohl) runs along here,

also the A9, A3 and the S (around Schalksmühle), L (around Lüdenscheid) circular routes.

The Mesekendahl with its restaurants and the Brenscheid mills (restaurant) can be easily reached from here via the A9 hiking trail and then the A3.
