The history of the "Stütings Mühle historical ensemble" dates back to the late Middle Ages. A document from 1307 already mentions a "mill located near the town"; - since 1983, individual parts of the building have been repeatedly restored and modernized.
In 2020/21, the Wester was renaturalized in the area surrounding the site, the Westertal cycle path was built and the historic tunnel bunker was redeveloped. Today, the ensemble invites hikers and cyclists to linger and offers informative and exciting insights into the past during guided tours and visits.
The site is freely accessible during the day until dusk.
Access to the buildings, technical facilities and cordoned-off areas is only possible or permitted as part of guided tours and visits for a fee.
We look forward to your visit!
