A large collection of more than 500 roebuck horns arouses the interest of every hunter or interested visitor. In addition to the history of the Schalksmühle-Hülscheid hunting association, hunting through the ages is also presented. The exhibits come from the estates of local hunters and have been donated to support public relations work. The exhibits also include animal species such as hazel grouse and partridge, which are no longer native today due to habitat changes. Overall, a wide range of native animal and bird species are on display.
Schools and kindergartens like to use the museum to provide information about the native animal world under expert guidance.
The Hunting and Wildlife Museum welcomes visitor groups, clubs and interested people. The museum is expressly not just for hunters.
Unfortunately, the museum is not barrier-free.
Simply get in touch with us if you would like to see our exhibition for people with disabilities!
Opening hours: On request! We accept registrations and inquiries by telephone or email.
