#deinsauerland / Neusta POIs / Iserlohn Park Theater
When it comes to cultural experiences, the Parktheater Iserlohn is the first port of call in the Waldstadt district. And it has been doing so for many decades, or more specifically, since its reopening in 1964.

Extensive renovations were carried out at the turn of the millennium, so that visitors to the theater can enjoy all the advantages of a modern and technically equipped venue.

With its loyal subscribers in 15 subscription series, the Parktheater Iserlohn is an integral and important part of the cultural region of Südwestfalen.
Around half of the guests come from the surrounding area, making the renowned theater a cultural beacon.

The program theater is a showcase to the world, a glass cultural venue that opens up to the people and offers theater and culture for everyone.
With this claim, theater director Niels Gamm puts together a multifaceted program with which he sets many extraordinary accents. For him, the Parktheater Iserlohn is a place of exchange. It should be a space for encounters and experiences.

For young and old, young and old, for old locals and new Iserlohn residents.
Everyone is welcome at the Parktheater Iserlohn!

Since July 2021, Gamm has been running the theatre with five employees in the organizational team of the cultural office and a federal volunteer.
In addition, there are eight technical staff (foremen and event technology specialists), two in-house technicians, four trainees, eleven front of house staff and several stagehands in the Parktheater team.
They all strive to make the evening unique and unmistakable for visitors at every performance.

The Parktheater Iserlohn has received great support for many years from the Parktheater Iserlohn e. V., the largest cultural association in the city, which, as the city's largest cultural association, makes many good and sometimes crazy ideas possible. With a large number of exclusive member events and a biennial cultural trip, the association offers an attractive additional program with many glimpses behind the scenes.

The commitment to year-round children's and youth theater is also impressive. It is very important to the Parktheater Iserlohn to live up to the municipal claim of being a "child-friendly city". In addition to free tickets for the youngest theatergoers, subscription offers are available for families and young adults.
Extensive cultural education concepts, support for in-house productions by the Schauspielensemble Iserlohn e. V.special projects such as the WDR's Mouse Door Opener Day and the open-air "Summer in the City" offer in Floriansdorf Iserlohn complete the portfolio.

However, the Iserlohn Park Theatre's biggest sponsor is the audience, whose encouragement for the varied and contrasting program motivates the team to deliver top performances time and time again. After every successful performance, for which all employees have worked passionately; after every project as a venture in which the spark has been ignited, the entire Parktheater team is happy and knows what the effort has once again been worthwhile.
