As the oldest gravestones date back to 1820, it can be assumed that the cemetery was established before 1820. The last burial took place in 1929.

After the cemetery was destroyed during the Nazi era, the gravestones were re-erected in a row after the war, which is atypical for a Jewish cemetery.
