One of the most modern 8-seater chairlifts in Germany takes snow sports enthusiasts to the Willingen ski area in winter. In summer, the K1 chairlift is the heart of the MTB Zone Bikepark. The lift ensures comfortable and smooth transport to the Ettelsberg, the starting point of eight trails with a total length of 15 kilometers. Bike holders on the summer chairs ensure maximum comfort.
The "K1" project at Köhlerhagen is considered to be the largest cable car project in the Sauerland to date. The technology installed is state-of-the-art in all its facets. The high-performance 8-seater chairlift with a total length of 1,500 meters was opened at the beginning of December 2018, making it the longest lift in the Sauerland. The slope length is 1,600 meters. In summer, the mountain station is the starting point for the MTB Zone Bikepark with a total of 15 kilometers of trails - suitable for beginners and families as well as the hardliners of the downhill scene.
