#deinsauerland / Neusta POIs / Kuhbach recreation area

The Kuhbachtal valley at the renaturalized Alte Badeanstalt is one of Korbach's two local recreation areas. The meadow landscape is tended by primitive Heck cattle, and numerous bird species that rest and breed in the wetland can be observed from observation stands along the approximately 3 km long circular trail.

Nature conservation and local recreation

Anyone who thinks that these two terms don't go together can
can see for themselves on the "Alte Badeanstalt" circular hiking trail between Korbach and
Lelbach to find out otherwise. The approximately 3.1 km long hike
with numerous information boards and two observation points
a good insight into the "Alte Badeanstalt" wetland area and the
renaturalized Kuhbach, affectionately known in Korbach as "the Kuhbach".

A walk is worthwhile at any time of year. Numerous benches invite you to linger and enjoy this beautiful
beautiful meadow landscape. The paths are also suitable for baby carriages and children's vehicles.

You can pick up a folding map of the circular walk with further information on the renaturation of the area and its special birdlife from the Korbach Information Office.
