The building was built in 1909 as a Prussian standard signal box. The Westheim signal box is the last remaining railroad building in Marsberg. Today there is an exhibition in the former signal box room. Display boards, photos and exhibits document the history of the signal box building. In the outdoor area, a wagon and a shaped signal are reminders of times gone by.
