Look over the shoulders of the model railroaders as they build one of the largest model railroad layouts in Hochsauerland.
When the railroad is finished, 92 computer-controlled trains will be running in automatic mode. There will also be around 40 hand-controlled locomotives in the depot. The cars on the roads will also be computer-controlled. A day/night light control system ensures that night falls every 24 minutes. At the same time, the lights on the houses and cars are switched on by time and random control.
You can always find up-to-date information on the progress of construction work on the homepage of the Schmallenberg e.V. model railway club.
