Founded in 1976, the association is concerned with the preservation and study of local history. It aims to combine and cultivate the traditional and the new in a meaningful way, so that knowledge of the homeland and attachment to it is preserved and promoted among the population. Other tasks include the maintenance and design of the townscape, the flower market and the organization of the St. Martin's procession. The association currently has 115 members.
