A hall church of which two bays and the apse are still preserved stood here in the middle of the 13th century. The old tower was demolished in 1996 and rebuilt between 2003 and 2004. The church was completely renovated in 2013 and 2014.
Worth seeing is the Nazarene-style altar, which is dedicated to St. Valentine, the patron saint of the town, as well as the late Gothic sacrament house, which was built before 1500.
